Snails of the vines
In France, the snail is connected to the vine ever since. The buds are a delicacy for these gourmet. (only for French) to eat snails we must leave them fasting for over a month they evacuate their gut contents (you can give them flour or sweet wine). But today, with the treatments, snails die before this period. Here a good indicator of the rate of pesticide from the vine, organic and cheap.
Previously they were collected and set apart by hand grape harvester. Today, they participate in the fermentation tanks (they are sometimes picked up with the machine). I never felt bad taste because of these snails
